I’ll definitely get a good picture in the sunlight when it is done.

I got a hell of a deal. It is guy who is just starting out with wrapping whole cars. He has wrapped other things, but never a whole car. So he pretty much just charged me for materials.

I too want to know. I was thinking about wrapping just my roof and hood for protection/glare.

I can tell you I spent roughly $675 on materials. But he has been telling me he probably would have charged about twice that if he charged labour.

IF I could get both those done for $500 it would be worth it, otherwise nah.

That with bronze wheels should look really nice, I look forward to seeing the completed car.

I’ve considered wrapping the GTO with a satin wrap. Not that I don’t like my bright-ass yellow car but since the body work will be as clean as it has ever been once the body shop is done with it (no rock chips or pits) I’ve been thinking about it more...

Why did he remove the front bumper? I’ve seen them do it before and I’ve seen them wrap it just fine w/o removing it. Is there a specific reason?

Wow, that’s awesome! I’ve seen quotes 3-4k for most full cars. I paid $1k just for scotch gurard pro on my E46M3, and that was only for the front bumper/part of the hood, mirror caps, a pillars, behind front and rear wheels.

Probably because it is his first whole car so he wanted to do it properly.

I ask because at some point I am going to attempt to wrap my wife’s Juke and wanted to know if there was a benefit/drawback for doing it either way. I’d prefer not to remove bumpers/lights, but if there is a specific reason I’d really like to know.
